Summer - June

We are having the best summer!  Here's a peek into what we've been up to:

Forts, Legos, and lots of imaginary play occupy the boys' days.

We've enjoyed making popsicles and eating them on the porch.

The boys have subscriptions for Tinker and Kiwi Crates this summer.  They love getting new projects in the mail!

They've been going on long bike rides with Justin.

They are both coming along nicely with their computer programming.

We've also been doing a lot of cooking to develop some of those skills.

They're doing really well and can do several recipes on their own.

We spent two weeks in Montana.  The boys love visiting their grandparents!

We met Grandmanette several times for picnics at MSU-B

The boys love hanging out with Grandmanette in her "workshop".

They also like exploring parks in Billings.

And iPad time, of course.

Reading time with Gradmanette.

They enjoyed going on long walks to the park with Grandmanette too.

We went camping with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Bill and some friends who were kind enough to let us borrow these fun toys!

The boys thought they were pretty cool!

These boys love being out in the woods...and s'mores are pretty awesome too!

The boys had a cozy bunk in Grandma and Grandpa's trailer.

Morgan cruising around the campground on his favorite bike.

The boys got to hitch a ride to our fishing spot.

Morgan caught a fish with Grandpa Bill!

So proud of his little trout!

We've been listening to Harry Potter all summer and the boys like to follow along in the books.  We just started book five!

A Wedding

On June 14th we gathered with family and friends to witness the beautiful wedding of Robbie and McKenzie.  It was such a lovely day!  We felt so blessed to be part of the celebration. And we are so excited for them to begin their life together!

Wedding week began with a shower of love and blessings on the beautiful bride.

Bride and bridesmaids.  I love these girls!

Father of the bride.  Wedding coordinator.  Packing extraodinaire.  Sign maker.  Always going above and beyond.  I could go on and on about the attributes of this man!

Pedicures with mom and the sisters.

For the bachelorette party, the bride had to dawn a princess hat and fairy wings and then ask couples for marital advice in downtown Billings.  (:

Patiently waiting for their turn to practice walking down the aisle.

 Wedding rehearsal!

The more skits, singing, laughing, game playing, the better for the Hill family!  They are an amazing group of people!

You might be a Hill kid if...

Morning of the wedding and time to get pretty!

 The sisters...love these two!

Kenz's college roommate was a huge help to the bride and the maids.

Mom and Kenz sharing a last moment.

 Almost show time!

Robbie and Kenz's first moment together.

Who knew hanging outside of a barn window could be so fun!

We had a great time with pictures.

It was such a beautiful, happy day.  Corn hole was quite a hit with the guests.

The bridesmaids having fun at the photo booth.

OMG...these two!  So handsome!

Getting a squeeze from Aunt Linda and Uncle Chuck.

Moments before their walk down the aisle.

The wedding party taking a break and eating some yummy dinner!

View of where the ceremony took place from inside the Big Yellow Barn.

Meg and I had fun putting the dessert table together.  Friend Becky made the cake for the bride and groom.

 First dance.

Father daughter dance...and lots of tears from those of us watching.  (:

 Robbie and his mom...so sweet!

The boys had a great time at their first wedding!

They loved playing outside with all the kids and running around the barn.

Congratulations Kenzie & Robbie!
